EatSmart Precision Pro Review

It's a great way to prepare small meals for you and your family.

The EatSmart Precision Pro II won the Silver Top Ten Award in our review of the best food product lines. He did it because it's an easy-to-use, lightweight, and durable kitchen scale that weighs up to 11 pounds. This scale dominated the tables of our accuracy and consistency tests and did very well in both cases. The large screen and numbers are backlit and easy to read from almost any angle. This scale has impressed us in every respect, with a few exceptions.

Usability

Accurate and reliable reading is the most important aspect of any kitchen scale. We have subjected each food scale to a series of precision and consistency tests in our review. The results of this test have shown that the accuracy of this scale is flawless. All test weights with this scale gave the exact weight of our control group.

The weight range that this kitchen scale can measure is right in the middle of our test. Measure in increments of just 1 gram or 0.05 ounces. He also has a weight limit of 11 pounds. There is more than enough capacity to weigh most of the ingredients for an average meal. However, if you prepare a particularly large meal or use the scale for something heavier than food, you might want to invest in a balance made for this purpose.

The weighing platform of this scale measures only a hair less than 20 square inches. While some household kitchen scales have weighing zones that are more than twice as big, 20 inches is more than the right quality to weigh the bindings of a home-cooked meal.

The two buttons in this area perform simple but powerful functions. The power button acts as a tare function. It simply means that you have the opportunity to weigh an item and then weigh that weight in the future. This is especially useful when weighing items in a container. Simply weigh the empty container, press the Tare button, refill the container and replace it again. The balance indicates the weight of the articles in the container taking into account the weight of the container.

Design
The partner of our precision test was our consistency test. In this test, we weigh the same objects in different places on the scale to see if this leads to a different result. The EatSmart Precision Pro has passed this test with great success. This scale shows the same weight no matter where you place the item.

The Precision Pro is compact and rounded in design for easy storage. This electronic kitchen scale is also easy for easy transfer from one flat surface to another. If you need to switch between standard and metric units, you can easily adjust the measurement types by selecting the Unit button.

The screen of this food scale is excellent when you take it out of the box for the first time. However, after several hours of use, the screen fades and becomes difficult to read. This will make you think that your batteries are exhausted after only a few days. But usually that is not the case; Even replacing the battery does not solve this problem.

This scale is powered by two AAA batteries. To save battery power, it automatically turns off after three minutes of inactivity. Not only do you save battery life, you also do not have to worry about switching off the balance. It's great because manually shutting off a balance after use can slow down the speed at which you cook your food

Measurement Units
This scale displays the weight of your food in ounces, pounds, grams, and kilograms. These are the measurements most commonly found in modern recipes. Therefore, you should not have too many problems using just these units of measure. However, the addition of liquid ounces and milliliters would greatly enhance the versatility of the food scale.

Help & Support
EatSmart offers good customer service. The company offers all the support options we are looking for in the best kitchen scales. If you have a problem with your balance, you can contact the company by phone or e-mail. However, most simple queries can be resolved by referring to the included user guide or navigating to the Frequently Asked Questions section of the EatSmart website.

Summary
With a few minor exceptions, this is a decent kitchen scale. Problems with shrinking the screen and weight inconsistency are unlikely to affect the average user. But these are things you should keep in mind. If you do not use the scale for several hours a day, you probably will not reproduce our results. And if you use your scale to a large extent, you should look for a stronger product.
